Mixed-Use

Mixed-use projects generally combine several aspects of urban development into one master development. Such aspects may include, but are not limited to, residential units, office space, retail, hotel, restaurants and entertainment venues, which can be combined in a high-density urban context or a horizontal mix of uses.

Hunt pursues mixed-use developments in three main areas: (i) private real estate markets in the Southwest and Hawaii, (ii) integrated into our master-planned communities, and (iii) through the U.S. Government's Enhanced-Use Lease program.

Hunt's mixed-use developments in private real estate markets in the Southwest and Hawaii typically include, but are not limited too, retail, office, hotel and residential units.  In addition, all of Hunt's master-planned communities are designed to include mixed-use components such as office, retail and residential units, all seamlessly integrated with community facilities, recreational areas and natural landscaping.

Our mixed-use developments through the Enhanced-Use Lease program are undertaken on leased land from military bases.  They feature office parks, industrial facilities, hotels, retirement care communities, and retail as well as other facilities that provide a sense of community for nearby residents and workers.  These projects are adjacent to some of the most vital military installations in the country and will allow private industry the ability to work in close synergy with their client.
